The committee has requested that we, the Planning/Zoning Dept, contact you to get comments about this
development. The committee felt that you would be more candid with us, rather than the petitioner. There is
concern among the committee members about the location of the subdivision in relation to the school and
crosswalk areas. Please note that a sidewalk currently exists along the frontage of this proposed subdivision.

Other concerns are traffic along 126th Street and the fact that the petitioner is seeking a waiver from acceleration
and deceleration lanes. Perhaps you could provide some comments on this, as it relates to morning/afternoon
pick-up/drop-off congestion, bus traffic, and the number of pedestrian crosswalks.
