Carmel Drive C-1 Rezone II/Industrial District to C-1/City Center District CARMEL CITY CLERK To: The Honorable Common Council Of the City of Carmel SEP 2 7 2023 Hamilton County, Indiana TIME: Dear Members: The Carmel Plan Commission offers you the following report on the application Docket No. PZ-2023-00185 Z-petitioning to the parcel located at 154 W Carmel Drive from the Il/Industrial District within the Range Line Road Overlay to the Cl/City Center District. The site is generally located at the northeast corner of Carmel Drive and the Monon Greenway. The Carmel Plan Commission Commercial Committee's recommendation on the petition of the applicant is "Favorable." At its regularly scheduled meeting on September 19, 2023, the Carmel Plan Commission voted Eight (8) in Favor, Zero (0) Opposed, One (1) Absent, to forward to the Common Council the proposed Ordinance No. Z-684-23 with a"Favorable Recommendation". Please be advised that by virtue of the Plan Commission's Favorable Recommendation, pursuant to IC 36-7-4-608(f), the Council has ninety (90) days to act on this petition before it becomes effective as Certified by the Commission. Ninety days from the date of the Certification is Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
