PZ-2023-00194-00196 V: Lake City Bank Remodel Variances Dear Mr. Calderon: At the meeting held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) requests filed by you for the property located at 1361 S. Rangeline Road: APPROVED: Lake City Bank Remodel Variances - Development Standards Variance approval for: • PZ-2023-00194 V: 1 sign allowed, 2 granted (facing west), • PZ-2023-00195 V: Minimum 5-ft ground sign setback from street right of way required, 0-ft granted, • PZ-2023-00196 V: Minimum 20 parking spaces required, 14 granted, and • CONDITION: The Petitioner receives Board of Public Works (BPW) Consent to Encroach approval for the ground sign. Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is Sept. 27, 2026. Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
