A new solar array will be placed with an additional weight of less than 3 psf (pounds per square foot). The existing roof framing consisting of timber trusses at 24” on center is more than adequate to support the weight of the new array. The array will be attached to the roof with flashed roof anchors utilizing 4” x 5/16” stainless steel lag screws at no more than 48” on center spacing, lags to have 2.5” minimum embedment. The existing roof framing is more than adequate to support the weight of the new solar array system. If there are any further questions please feel free to contact me directly at your convenience. Respectfully, Mr. Tracy S. Mitchell, PE IN PE#19600483
