The building & Sewer Shall be pve sewer pipe meeting ASTM specifications 3034 SDR 35 of latcst revision; or vitrified clay pipe, meeting,
ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 232] for pve pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations sh~1l be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9-122(a), and sections P3008.1 and.2 of the International Residential Code. All building sewers shall be 6" diameter.
All installations shall be "onen trench" insoected and aooroved bv the Cannel Sewer Deoartment before anv backfillim! is done. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial of future sewer pennits and/or denial of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground water or stann water shall be permitted to enter the public sewer.
Sewer insnections should be reauested at (317) 571-2648 one to four hours in advance. I
No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangements are made at least 24 hours in advance. III
