Buildings shall be accessible to persons with disabilities in accordance w Ith Section 1.2 (1 through 5)
and (2), Part 1, Chapter 11, iBC (675 lAC 13,2.4).
No change in the character or use of any building or structure shall be permitted which shall cause
the building or structure to be classlifed within a different occupancy group or w ilhin a different division
of the same occupancy group, unless such building or structure complies ,w ilh or is made to comply
with the current rules of the Indiana Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission for new
construction for the proposed revised use of the building in accordance w iih 675 lAC 12-4-11 (c).
Buildings that are heated or mechanically cooled shall be constructed so as to provide the required
thermal performance of the various components in accordance with Section 501.1, IECC (675 lAC 19-
3-1).

Except in dwelling units, a floor drain shall be installed in a toilet room containing tw 0 or more water
closets or a combination of one water closet and one urinal in accordance with Section 412, IPC (675
lAC 16-1.3).
The fire alarm system shall be designed as specified in Section 907, IFC (675 lAC 22-2.3) and
N.F.P.A. 72 (675 lAC 22-2.2-17) in accordance with Section 907, IBC (675 lAC 13-2.4).

and Building Services is closed during normal business hours. h the latter case, the filing deadline will be the first working day thereafter. If you
