so. However, I am wondering about what, if any, water and/or sewer permit and fees will be due for the

RE: Strategic Marketing & Research
Remaining Requirements for this Project:
. Engineering Approval of Plans (Gary DuncanlNick Redden).
. Approval by Amanda Foley, Stormwater Administrator (Plan Approval must come first)
. Secondary Plat Approval. It is my understanding that this plat will be presented to our Board of
Public Works and Safety on November 15, 2006 for approval. The deadline for submissions to
this meeting is Wednesday, November 8. I will need the approved plat from DOCS no later than
Tuesday, November 7. All required Performance Guarantees must be posted prior to placement of
the plat on the BPWS Agenda.
. Need detailed (quantities, sizes, unit costs, total costs, etc.) and certified Engineer's Cost
Estimates for 100% of the cost of labor and materials for:
Right of way improvements (including curb & gutters, LO. w. pavement, sidewalks/paths,
etc.)
Perimeter concrete monuments
Erosion Control
. Provide 3-individual Performance Guarantees in the amount of the Engineer's Estimates.
. When you have Engineering approval of the plans, provide 4-sets of certified drawings for
approval. You will receive I-set. If you wish to have more that I-set, we will approve 2-
additional sets for a total of6-sets. You will then receive 3-sets.
. Provide a completed Right of Way Permit for approval. Contact our Right of Way Manager, Fred
Glaser at 714-8908. The Performance Guarantee that will be posted for Right of Way
Improvements may be used to satisfy bonding requirements for the Permit.
. Conunitment to construct Thoroughfare Plan improvements
. Offsite easements for storm water discharge.
. Final Drainage approval
. \Vhen all of the above requirements have been met, the Water Fees may be paid as follows:
Water Availability (acreage) Fee $1,263.00
Water Connection Fee $7,809.00
Total $9,072.00
One check in the amount of $9,072.00 is acceptable. When these fees are paid, you will need
to designate a bonded plumber/excavator. This is the contractor who will make the outside
connection from the water main to the building. We have a listing of bonded plumbers
available.

Strategic Marketing & Research received BPW approval for water availability and commercial
curb cut on October 18, 2006. According to my records, here are the remaining issues for this
project:
. Engineering approval of plans.
. Approval by Amanda Foley and final drainage approval.
. Provision of required set of drawings for approval.
. Secondary Plat approval. My understanding that they wanted to be on the 11/15 BPW
agenda for this approval, but unless I receive the signed approved plat within the next
couple of hours, they will not be on the agenda.
. Posting of 3-performance bonds. Expect these soon.
. Commitment to construct Thoroughfare Plan improvements. Need to check with Gary
Duncan to see if they have satisfied this.
. Offsite Easement for stormwater discharge. Also need to check with Gary on this one.
. Payment of water availability and connection fees.
