STATEMENT OF VARIANCE REQUEST:
Docket No. PZ-2023-00258 V & PZ-2023-00259 V
I'm seeking approval to increase maximum lot coverage from 35% to 40% and to
increase square footage of the Ground Floor of a Private Garage/Accessory
building from 75% to 82% of Principal Building. These increases would allow the
installation of a Smart Pergola over existing concrete patio.
STATEMENT OF SUPPORT:

Installing a smart pergola in the backyard of our property will add value to our home by
increasing the usability of our outdoor living space. Due to the loss of some mature trees, this
area gets full sun for most of the day. This pergola would eliminate using temporary shelters for
shade.
I've attached approval from the Brookshire HOA for this improvement.
