The signs in question are currently out of compliance with the City of Carmel's sign ordinance. In response to the Cherry Tree decision (see background information provided by Laurence Lillig), Carmel School Corporation has been asked to bring all of its school signs into compliance with Carmel's sign ordinance. These variance petitions are in response to this request. Due to the large number of signs and docket numbers assigned these petitions, I would like to summarize this package to the extent possible. Below are grouped signs with identical variances from the sign ordinance being requested.
