HomeMy WebLinkAboutLetter #46 Ralph RoperPossible Benefits from a PUD Road Stub(Note: For this illustration the actual location of the PUD was shifted slightly eastward to model the Highway Department’s comment that the southwest exit/access ramp road would likely be further to the west than shown in their drawing, and thus would be very close to the PUD east property line.)Illustration prepared by Roper (Gray Oaks Resident) – Nov. 17, 2023Per Jayne Gates’ (Gray Oaks resident) correspondence with the Hamilton County Highway Department regarding interfacing with their preferred concept for future improvements to the 146th St. and Gray Rd. intersection:It would be feasible for a PUD road stub to have full access to the 2‐lane ramp road. Traffic leaving the PUD via the stub could thus turn left to 146th St. or right to Gray Rd.Traffic entering the PUD via the stub could thus turn in either from 146th St. or from Gray Rd. The stub, in combination with the 2‐lane full access ramp road, could thus accommodate PUD inflow from and outflow to all four directions!
