Men, Please excuse my sloppy sketch but I wanted to show you from a side view the results that Troy is talking about.The left wall has the brick skirt encroaching 4"only and the framing is good.On the right side we have the brick skirt encroaching 1%" and the framing is good. I'm not sure what if any grace Carmel will allow but we are very close to being acceptable. As a matter of fact,once you get past the brick skirt(which is nonstructural and this does matter because window wells which are also nonstructural are allowed to encroach)then we are good.Thank you troy for all the help on this! Per my shots,the house was built a hair over 5.5 inches too wide. For the most part, it's 4 inches too far north,and 1.5 inches too far south (for a 5-foot setback). House is slightly out of square to the lot(1"),that could be GPS, but we were pretty consistent on all sides, it is relatively square to itself.
