Dedication for Public Use. My comment is to ensure,
should the City or Park Board acquire property or
easements along Williams Creek, that a public
multipurpose trail may be constructed by the City or

Thanks for discussing my request with your attorney to determine the feasibility of making it easier
to obtain a public easement in the future. Based on our conversation yesterday, as well and the
impracticality of providing the easement at this time, your have resolved my comment on the
project. I attempted to go into ProjectDox to mark my request resolved, but the system was not
cooperating with me. I coped Angie Conn and DOCS Director Mike Hollibaugh on this reply to let
them know I have no objection with this project proceeding to the BPW. Wanted to ensure there
was a written documentation for you in the event you need to provide this to someone else at
DOCS.

Thank you for the call back yesterday. I followed up on this further with out legal team and, as
expected, they also think there could be some challenges with us granting/changing easement
language at this stage to allow for public connection/access to the western property that is owned
by a private party. As mentioned on the phone, if something changes in the future with this property
and it becomes available to the public, the Flora HOA board will be established and could work with
the city on modifying the existing private easement to be public. I hope this suffices for now and
please confirm when you are able to close out the remaining comment on ProjectDox. Thanks again

Just following up on this. I spoke with our team and they aren’t comfortable with opening it up and
adding language for solar panels and chickens for now. But, they did mention that once the
community is 90% sold out they will transition this to the homeowners and that new board is
welcome to update as they see fit.
