Crowley The Reis Law Firm 12358 Hancock Street Carmel, IN 46032 Re: World Wide Motors Developmental Standards Variances (V-163-01; V-164-01) vViafax (317/848-4899) & US Mail Dear Mr. Crowley, At the meeting held Monday, March 25, 2002, the Carmel/Clay Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action regarding petitions filed by you on behalf of Atlas Sign Co., Inc., for World Wide Motors, located at 3900 East 96th Street in the Bauer Commercial Park: APPROVED: Docket No. V-163-01, a Developmental Standards Variance of Section 25.7.02- 7(b): Number & Type in order to establish a third Identification Sign. The Board voted three (3) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition. APPROVED with Conditions: Docket No. V-164-01, a Developmental Standards Variance of Section 25.7.02-7(e): Location in order to establish a Ground Identification Sign within the setback from the proposed seventy-five-foot (75') half right-of-way for East 96th Street as identified on the Thoroughfare Plan. The Board voted three (3) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition with the following Condition: 1. The recording of Commitments that require the removal of the sign at the owner's expense at such time as the City or other unit of government acquires additional right-of-way for East 96th Street necessitating relocation of the sign. Please be advised that the Department of Community Services will not issue a Sign Permit for the new Ground Identification Sign until a copy of the recorded Commitment has been returned to our office.
