Sign for Mercedes re: BZA meeting this evening
Laurence:
On February 14, 2002, we hand delivered to your office a writtent request to
table the public hearing on the Mercedes Sign matter, filed as docket
numbers V-163-01 and V-164-01. Did you receive the letter and does this
satisfy you to table the project this evening without a representative from
Mercedes being present?

RE: Sign for Mercedes re: BZA meeting this evening
Laurence: thanks for clearing this up. We have no problem with the items
appearing on the agenda. We sent a courtesy letter to the adjoining property
owners regarding the change in the meeting date so they won't show up (if
they even cared).
P.S. On a personal note, Trevor Smith and Kerry Sims are getting married
(apparently not to each other). Trevor lives in Chicago and is getting
married in June. Kerry is in Colorado and said he is getting married again
"sometime in the first decade of the 21st century."

Mark,
We did receive the letter, and the petitions will be tabled to the March
meeting. The Items would not appear on the agenda at all, except I did not
see the letter until after the agenda had been prepared. My apologies for
any confusion this may have caused.

Would we want to consider making the dedication of additional right-of-way a condition of the variance approval.
(nexus being the location of the proposed sign) This may be in addition to moving sign at owners expense in future
with an approval to encroach into right-of-way.
