11. Docket No. 162-01 ADLS Amend; Dan Young Chevrolet
Petitioner seeks Amendment to the Architectural Design, Lighting, Landscaping & Signage
approval granted under 46-01 ADLS for an auto dealership. The site is located northeast of
East 96th Street and Keystone Avenue. The site is zoned B-3/Business and is located
partially within the SR 431/Keystone Overlay Zone.

The applicant is requesting to modify their plans to make improvements to the facility at 96th and
Keystone. Please see the applicant's informational booklet for a complete illustration ofthe
proposed changes. In addition the applicant has provided additional information to the
Committee members for the discussion at the meeting. This information includes elevations of
the buildings as approved by the Commission last summer.
The applicant was granted approval last summer to make several improvements to the site. They
now desire to make changes to the approved plans. Concerns raised at the Plan Commission
meeting include a desire to see the west elevation of the building broken-up architecturally.
The Department recommends that the Special Studies Committee approve the ADLS
Amendment upon resolution of the noted concerns.
The Special Studies Committee can take final action on this request.
