Hey Angelina and Daren,
Attached is a copy of the plant list and sizes from the estimate. Attached is also a copy of the master
plan showing the different planting areas by color that correspond to the colored sections on the plant
list. I typically would label all of the plants on the master plan but we just haven't gotten that far yet as we
are still a ways out from construction.
It would appear that the tree we had proposed for the corner bed by the road (red on the plan) would be a
large shade tree...an oak tree to be specific. From the paragraph above, it would be my understanding
that this tree can be planted within that 15' corner triangle as it would be branching far above the 3'-8'
height constraint. It is quoted as a 1.75" BB tree but we could go larger on the initial planting size if we
need to ensure that the branching starts above the 8' constraint. A 2.5" or 3" tree should be plenty tall.
The other items in that bed are just mop cypress and elijah blue fescue grass which both would be under
the required height constraints.

Please respond in writing to the preliminary review comments listed at the
bottom of the 01/22 docket no. assignment email, and please do that before
noon Friday Feb. 16. For your convenience, they are listed again, below: a)
Please make checks payable to City of Carmel if you are paying via check. (Or
you can pay online via credit card, but please note a transaction fee might
apply. With online credit card payment, be sure to include your Docket No(s)
and select Planning & Zoning.) b) Provide a copy of the Official List of
Adjacent Property Owners from the Hamilton County Auditors Office. (Make
sure to check Carmel BZA on their form.) c) *The Current in Carmel only
prints on Tuesdays, and their filing deadline is usually 14 days prior to their
printing date. Please submit your Microsoft Word file of the legal ad to them
by Noon, Friday, January 26 so that it prints on time. Their contact info is 317
-489-4444 or legals@youarecurrent.com. (Please refer to the Handout for a
Template of wording to use for the legal ad and the mailings.) d) The
mailings/notices to the neighbors should be done by first class mail with
Certificate of Mailing (not Certified Mail). (Please provide us with the
certificate of mailings for the file on or before Noon, Wed. Feb. 21.) e) Please
provide the filled out & notarized Placement of Public Notice Sign Placement
Affidavit form (found in Handout) once the sign is placed. f) Please provide
the filled out & notarized Petitioners Affidavit of Notice of Public Hearing
form (found in Handout). g) Please provide the filled-out Notice of the Public
Hearing form/template (found in Handout). h) Please provide the Publishers
Affidavit from the newspaper, once you receive that from them. i) Please
