RETAIL FRONTAGE The primary area or areas that reflect the front or face of a retail or office store. STOREFRONT SIGNAGE & GRAPHICS Signage loca0on on or along the storefront por0on of leased space, to include permanent displays, graphics, tenant suite numbers, logo, store hours and phone number. SIGN BAND The physical loca0on on each building eleva0on designed to accommodate signage. STREET FRONT SIGNAGE Signage installed on the building fascia and parallel to the roadway intended for viewing by vehicular traffic. SIGN AREA The sign area is computed by surrounding each graphic element with a rectangle and calcula0ng the area according to the City of Carmel UDO standards. SPANDREL The area of the sign band where signage may be placed.
