Converting the curbs to ADA ramps would provide an ADA compliant accessible route. I have a pdf in the correspondence folder noting these options. Option 1: Remove noted islands and pave over for solar and parking. Parking lot island space will be added to other parking lot islands as noted, essentially doubling of some islands, and removing others for a net zero change. Option 2: Remove noted islands and pave over for solar and parking. Parking lot island spaces will need to be relocated along both sides of entrance where existing parking spaces will be removed. Option 3: Remove all island landscaping as proposed (except the existing trees on the 6 islands where there is a current walkway and replace with landscaping as proposed. *Solar panels must be placed at least a 9â (1 parking space) from each island in all options.
