At the meeting held Monday, March 24, 2003, the Carmel/Clay Advisory Board of Zoning
Appeals took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variances filed by you on
behalf ofW ood Hyundai RE, LLC, for property located at 461 Ob East 96th Street:
APPROVED: Docket No. V-20-03, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section
25.07.01-02: Definitions in order to establish a 41.34-square-foot projecting sign.
The Board voted three (3) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition.
APPROVED: Docket No. V-21-03, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section
25.07.02-08(a): Sign Classification in order to establish a "Tom Wood" projecting sign.
The Board voted three (3) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition.
APPROVED: Docket No. V-22-03, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section
25.07.02-08(b): Number & Type in order to establish two (2) identification signs.
The Board voted three (3) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition.

APPROVED: Docket No. V-23-03, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section
25.07.02-08(b): Number & Type in order to establish two (2) identification signs oriented
east.
The Board voted three (3) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition.
Please be advised that per Section 25.07.07: Sign Permits of the Zoning Ordinance, the
signs approved pursuant to the aforementioned Development Standards Variances must be
established within one (1) year. The expiration date of the approvals is Tuesday, March 24,
2004.
*When applying for Sign Permits for this structure, please include a copy of this
letter with your application materials in order to assist the Department's review.
