Dear Mr. MartiD:
T1umk you very much for your inquiry regarding Ryland Homes' interest in
developing a townhouse style project at the southeast comer of 146th Street and Hazel
Dell. I appreciate your confidence in our ability to deliver a high-density housing
product that can be functional and attractive as we have constructed this product in other
parts of the City of Carmel.
I am faminar with the site that you referenced and unfortunately, given the
intensity of the retail facilities that are forthcoming immediately across 146111 Street from
this site, I feel that this would not be a preferred site for our customers and our product.
Again, thank you for considering Ryland Homes.
Sincerely yours,
~~

RE: Riverview Medical Park-146th and Hazel Dell Parkway
Dear Mr. Dobosiewicz:
I am writing to express my support forthe Riverview Medical Park proposed for the
SWC of 146th and Hazel Dell Parkway.
I have reviewed the plans and PUD ordinance submitted by Plum Creek Partners for
the rezoning of the SWC of 146th and Hazel Dell Parkway. The developer has explained
that all of the proposed buildings will be a maximum of one story, constructed of brick,
and will be sensitive to the surrounding uses. The developer has indicated that there
will be ample landscaping which will provide screening to the neighbors to the east as
well as the South. The developer has also promised to design alighting plan which will
not impact the neighborhoods surrounding the property
The Medical and Bank Branch uses proposed by the developer are a preferred use for
this prominent intersection. Please work with the developer to make this a project that
Carmel residents will be proud to support.

Dear Mr. Dobosiewicz:
I am.the Chairman of Building and Grounds at ~azel Dell Christian
Church. I bave met with Jon Duke and discussed at lengtll the project to
develop the southeast corner of 146th and Hazel Dell Parkway. They have
provided us with site plans demonstrating its use. Our understanding is that
this property would be used to provide medical assistance to the community
in the fonn of doctor's offices and immediate care with the possibility of a
bank as well. I have shared these with our Board of Directors and we have
discussed the implications at leng$.
In short, we do not believe that the rezoning of this property to allow

would be detrimental to our church. neighborhood or the community. We
support this rezoning and look forward the progress that this change will
bring.

I am writing to express my support for the Riverview Medical Park proposed for the
SWC of 146th and Hazel Dell Parkway.
I am a neighbor of the property living east of the ~ite in Ashmore Trace. I have reviewed
the plans and PUD ordinance submitted by Plum Creek Partners for the rezoning of the
SWC of 146th and Hazel Dell Parkway. The developer has explained that all of the
proposed buildings will be a maximum of one st6ry, constructed of brick, and will be
sensitive to the surrounding uses. The developer has indicated that there will be ample
landscaping which will provide screening to the neighbors to the east as well as the
South. The developer has also promised to design a lighting plan which will not impact
the neighborhoods surrounding the property.
The. Medical and Bank Branch uses proposed byi the developer are a preferred use for
this prominent intersection. Please work with the developer to make this a project that
Carmel residents will be proud to su pport.

Dear Mr. Dobosiewicz:
I am the Chairman of Building and Grounds at Hazel Dell Christian
Church. I have met with Jon Duke and discussed at length the project to
develop the southeast comer of 146th and Hazel Dell Parkway. They have
provided us with site plans demonstrating its use. Our understanding is that
this property would be used to provide medical assistance to the community
in the form of doctor's offices and immediate care with the possibility of a
bank as well. I have shared these with our Board of Directors and we have
discussed the implications at length.
In short, we do not believe that the rezoning of this property to allow
ital the ability to provide medical treatment to the community
would be detrimental to our church, neighborhood or the community. We
support this rezoning and look forward the progress that this change will
bring.
Sincerely,
~
