I am a neighbor of the property living east of the site in Ashmore Trace. I have reviewed the plans and PUD ordinance submitted by Plum Creek Partners for the rezoning of the SWC of 146th and Hazel Dell Parkway. The developer has explained that all of the proposed buildings will be a maximum of one story, constructed of brick, and will be sensitive to the surrounding uses. The developer has indicated that there will be ample landscaping which will provide screening to the neighbors to the east as well as the South. The developerhas also promised to design a lighting plan which will not impact the neighborhoods surrounding the property. The Medical and Bank Branch uses proposed by the developer are a preferred use for this prominent intersection. Please work with the developer to make this a project that Carmel residents will be proud to support. Sincerely, ~GLr~J .' ~ :. )QC;;1'1 Uit~.... /7~~' '. DOCS Jon Dobosiewicz Department of CommUnity Affairs One Civic Square Carmel, IN 46032 Dear Mr. Dobosiewicz: I am the Chairman of Building and Grounds at Hazel Dell Christian Church. I have met with Jon Duke and discussed at length the project to develop the southeast comer of 146th and Hazel Dell Parkway. They have provided us with site plans demonstrating its use. Our understanding is that this property would be used to provide medical assistance to the community in the form of doctor's offices and immediate care with the possibility of a bank as well. I have shared these with our Board of Directors and we have discussed the implications at length. In short, we do not believe that the rezoning of this property to allow ital the ability to provide medical treatment to the community would be detrimental to our church, neighborhood or the community. We support this rezoning and look forward the progress that this change will bring. Sincerely, ~ Alan K. Peterson Chairman Building & Grounds CC: Jon Duke 1489 Preston Trail Carmel, In 46032 "_'l.
