Hollibaugh, Director SUE FINKAM, MAYOR L E T T E R of G R A N T March 26, 2024 Cynthia Lynn Ackelmire 1502 Marin Ave. Carmel, IN 46032 Re: BZA Docket No. PZ-2023-00294 V – Ackelmire Wall Height Variance Dear Ms. Ackelmire: At the meeting held Monday, March 25th, 2024, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you for the property located at 1502 Marin Ave: APPROVED: Ackelmire Wall Height Variance – Development Standards Variance for: • PZ-2023-00294 V: Maximum 42-inch fence/wall allowed in front yard, 44- to 66-inch-tall patio wall granted. Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is March 25th, 2027.
