New Market Street Carmel, IN 46032 Re: BZA Docket No. PZ-2024-00023 V: Roberts Mean Roncevic Kapela Sign Variance Dear Mr.& Mrs. Roberts, At the meeting held on Monday, March 25th, 2024, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you for the property located at 12801 E. New Market Street. APPROVED: Roberts Mean Roncevic Kapela Sign Variance – Development Standards Variance approval for: • PZ-2024-00023 V: 15 sq. ft. maximum sign size allowed (with 10” tall letters); 18 sq. ft. sign size (with 20” tall letters) granted. Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is March. 25th, 2027. Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
