Re: BZA Docket No. PZ-2024-00005 & 00007 V: Bush Property Variances
Dear Mr. Houle:
At the meeting held on Monday, March 25th, 2024, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action
regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) requests filed by you for the property located at 13280 Six
Points Road.
APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS: Bush Property Variances – Development Standards Variance approvals
for:
• PZ-2024-00005: Max. 18-ft accessory building height allowed, 22-ft granted.
• PZ-2024-00007: Accessory buildings shall be setback 25-ft behind the front line of principal building,
226-ft in front of principal building granted.
• CONDITIONS: All remaining ProjectDox review comments are sufficiently addressed.
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is March 25,
2027.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
