The Carmel Unified Development Ordinance provides

Certificate of Occupancy is issued.

Item 1: See attached diagram.
A: Banner Length is: 154’ Long x 5’ Tall = 770 SF
B: Total Fence size is: 701’ Long x 5.58' Tall = 3,911.58 SF
C: 20% of SF = 3,911.58 SF x 20% = 782 SF
D: Banner is 770 SF and under the 782 SF allowance
Item 2: I am an owner in Carmel Development V, LLC, so I am the owners rep for the submittal if that is
what you are asking as far as a Letter of Approval for the application.

Thank you for sending this. It was great to meet you as well.
The renderings that were uploaded for the permit show each banner at 142” wide. If you
are installing 14 of them, that would equate to 165.67’ of banner width.
Each sign shows at 5’ tall making the total area 828.33sf. If you install 13 banners, then you
would be in compliance, with 14 banners you are over.

Can you please reduce one banner. Please send me an updated rendering of the fence
with the reduced banner as well as the schematic.
Then we can move forward with the permit.

Please provide the total mesh length and height. Per UDO sign standards a
construction site may have a construction fence sign with a maximum of 20%
coverage of the total mesh per street frontage.
Please provide a letter of approval for this application.
