All installations shall be "open trench" inspected and approved bv the Carmel Sewer Department before anv backfilling is done. Non- compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial of future sewer permits and/or dcnial of water connections. No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground watcr or storm water shall be permitted to enter the public sewer. Sewer inspections should be reauested at (317) 571 ~2648 one to four hours in advance. No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangements are made at least 24 hours in advance. All plumbers or contractors installing sewer (or water) lines shall have a plumbers bond posted with the CITY ENGINEER'S OFFICE.
