GENERAL DEMOLITION NOTES:
1.THE UNDERGROUND UTILITIES AND TOPOGRAPHY DEPICTED ARE BASED ON FIELD DATA COLLECTED BY WEIHE ENGINEERS
ON MARCH 12, 2024. THE PATH OF THE UTILITY LINES SHOULD BE CONSIDERED APPROXIMATE UNTIL THEY ARE EITHER
RELOCATED, BY CALLING THE INDIANA UNDERGROUND PLANT PROTECTION SERVICE AT 1-800-382-5544 OR UNTIL THEY ARE
EXCAVATED TO VERIFY THE LOCATION AND PATH OF THE UTILITY LINES.
2.IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY LOCATIONS OF ALL EXISTING UTILITIES PERTAINING TO
THEIR PHASE OF WORK.
3.LOCATIONS OF UTILITIES NOTED TO BE REMOVED ARE APPROXIMATE AND SHALL BE RELOCATED, CAPPED AND/OR
ABANDONED PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
4.ALL DEMOLITION MATERIAL AND SALVAGEABLE MATERIAL ARE THE PROPERTY OF THE DEMOLITION CONTRACTOR AND
SHALL BE PROPERLY DISPOSED OF OFFSITE.
5.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN ALL DEMOLITION PERMITS REQUIRED BY LOCAL AND STATE AGENCIES.
6.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN STREETS FREE AND CLEAR OF SEDIMENT AND DEBRIS.
7.CONTRACTOR AND DEVELOPER TO COORDINATE WITH EXISTING HOMEOWNER TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY ACCESS TO
EXISTING HOME ON LOT 94 DURING CONSTRUCTION.
8.DEVELOPER TO COORDINATE WITH EXISTING HOMEOWNER TO PROVIDE PERMANENT DRIVEWAY AND SIDEWALK
REPLACEMENT.
9.UTILITY RELOCATIONS REQUIRED BY THE PROJECT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DEVELOPER. UTILITY LINE
RELOCATIONS REQUIRED FOR ROAD PROJECTS THAT RESULT IN A CONFLICT WITH PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT SHALL BE
THE DEVELOPER TO RESOLVED WITH THE UTILITY. EXISTING POLE LINES REQUIRED TO BE RELOCATED TO WITHIN ONE
FOOT OF PROPOSED RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE.
10.DAMAGE TO THE PRIVATE STREET SHALL BE RESTORED/REPAIRED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE CITY AT THE COMPLETION
OF THE PROJECT. THE CONTRACTOR IS ENCOURAGED TO INSPECT THE PRIVATE STREET WITH THE CITY PRIOR TO THE
START OF CONSTRUCTION TO DOCUMENT THE EXISTING CONDITION.
11.THE SITE DOES NOT LIE IN A SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD AREA AS ESTABLISHED BY THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
AGENCY - NATIONAL FLOOD INSURANCE PROGRAM, WHEN PLOTTED BY SCALE ON FLOOD INSURANCE RATE MAP
