L0011.Underground utilities, if shown, are based on above groundindications and construction drawings on file at Butler University.There is no guarantee that all underground utilities in service orabandoned are shown. Underground utilities are shown asaccurately as possible but still may not be exact. No physicalunderground utility locations were made.2.Tree Protection Fencing locations are fixed. Install exactly whereshown on these plans. Any adjustments to fencing locations mustbe approved by the Owner. Damages will be assessed if treeprotection fence location is adjusted without Owner approval.Fence deviation from this plan or approved change will becorrected by the General Contractor prior to the start ofconstruction.3.All tree pruning and limb restraint will be performed under thedirect supervision of a Certified Arborist. Contractor shall not prunetrees or restrain limbs.4.No staging, equipment, material storage, or vehicles are allowedon non-paved areas unless indicated otherwise on plan.5.Abandon all utilities to be removed when located within aProtected Root Zone.6.Backfill all depressed and void areas with top soil followingremoval of vegetation. Soil shall be free of debris. Compact soilsto ensure settling and sedimentation do not occur.7.Owner is responsible for transplanting identified trees, as noted.Coordinate with Owner if trees to be transplanted remain on sitewhen mobilization begins.8.Cleanly cut all roots encountered during construction. Contractorto Air-knife all roots around trees around all indicated as beingessential to the campus landscape vocabulary and any tree over18" in diameter.9.Coordinate locations of Tree Protection Fencing and ConstructionFencing prior to the start of construction activities. In areas whereTree Protection and Construction Fences overlap, the Contractormay elect to install the more restrictive fence type of the twoprovided that the single fence accommodates the requirements ofboth fences.10.Trimming of existing trees shall occur no later than March 15th.
