Explanation of why variance/waiver is being requested: Our application seeks to address pressing concerns regarding privacy, safety, and access to our backyard, which has been significantly compromised due to neighboring properties encroaching on our lot. The current setback requirements impede our ability to enjoy a safe and private outdoor space, particularly as we aspire to expand our family. Reducing the setback will enlarge our backyard space, fostering a secure environment where our family can thrive and create lasting memories. There are similar setbacks already in place for numerous homes within the Homeplace neighborhood and on our street.
