The architect of record needs to contact Capt. Chris Ellison at 317-571-2621
to discuss the exiting plan for this proposal. The life safety plan and exit sign
layout as shown is conflicting and these issues must be resolved. The
proposal is not approved as currently designed.

The design team was able to contact Capt. Chris Ellison
and clarify exiting plan. Please refer to revised G 300 -
Life safety plan, which corrects the orientation of two
exit path arrows, and removes two exit signs.

Please provide sign renderings and specs for all proposed signs. Please see
sign package for the LOR building in the Correspondence folder. Sign
package shows allowable sign locations and allowed lighting and mounting
specs, this does not mean that every sign location depicted is allowed to be
filled. Sign locations must still be approved by Sign Permits Administrator
and CRC per UDO Sign Standards requirements.

These window panes are blocked on the interior, due to
the partition construction of our wine rooms. A solid
wall was desired both as support for the millwork wine
storage elements, a screen for our refrigerated wine
storage unit and also to control how much sunlight the
wine bottles are exposed to. An extensive wine
collection is important to the 1933 brand, and is
currently being used as a focal entry element in the host
area that all guest pass through in order to enter the
main restaurant space. Please refer to sheet A 110a -
Floorplan Part 1 to see the location and extents of the
wine rooms. The exterior film utilized to screen the
interior wall will be decorative and part of branding.
Desing intent will be expressed in our colored elevation
and signage design submission.

1) Please review updated sheet A211 - Exterior
elevations. The revised keynotes now clarify where
opaque film is being proposed vs semi visible film. 2)
The film on this section of storefront glazing, in
elevation 3/A211 and denotated by keynotes 10 and 13,
is a mixture of opaque and semi visible film, to help
screen views of the parking lot for guests in the
"Sunroom Dining - 116" area. The lower opaque portion
obscure a solid low height wall and block any car
headlights. The upper portion is a semi visible version of
the same film design, to only slightly screen views of the
parking lot and create a consistent design aesthetic on
the exterior of the building. 3) All film design intent will
be included in our colored elevations/signage design
intent package submission.

The current proposed design is a black and gold
geometric pattern, with no additional verbiage or logos.
The film pattern was selected to complement the design
of our proposed primary signage.

1) Please review updated sheet A211 - Exterior
elevations. The revised keynotes now clarify where

The film on the storefront glazing in the center of
elevation 3/A211, and denoted by key note 10 only, is
currently obscuring a full height partition on the interior
of the space. This correlates with our "Fireplace Dining -
115" area. Because of the adjacency of the dining area
to the main parking lot thoroughfare and the parking
stalls that directly face the building, we wanted to
protect the guests from headlights entering the
restaurant space. It also allowed us to create a more
intimate space, that is part of the 1933 Lounge brand, to
contrast from the more open and airy sunroom dining
experience. 3) All film design intent will be included in
our colored elevations/signage design intent package
submission.

Main Sign on West facade
IF building owner allows 1933 Lounge to put their sign on the canopy in
front of the breezeway, I would move the wall sign to a canopy sign.
Maximum sign height is 24" so I would recommend a canopy face sign.
