The Plan Commission Special Studies Committee voted seven (7) in favor, zero (0) opposed subject to the following: That the new signage shall be limited to stainless steel, black and white. In order to assist the Department's review, please attach a copy of this letter when making application for permits regarding the improvements contained within this approval. Smeltzer Bose McKinney & Evans 600 East 96th Street, Suite 500 Indianapolis, IN 46240 Dear Mr. Smeltzer, At the meeting held Monday, November 25, 2002, the Carmel/Clay Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variances filed by you on behalf of Duke Realty LP for property located at 501 Congressional Boulevard: APPROVED: Docket No. V-188-02, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section 25.07.02-10(b) in order to allow a maximum of three (3) tenant identification signs consistent with the Plan Commission Special Study Committee's approval of Docket No. 142-02 ADLS Amend. The Board voted four (4) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition. APPROVED: Docket No. V-189-02, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section 25.07.02-10(c) in order to allow the tenant identification signs without frontage on public streets to have a maximum sign area of one hundred five (105) square feet consistent with the Plan Commission Special Study Committee's approval of Docket No. 142-02 ADLS Amend. The Board voted four (4) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition. APPROVED: Docket No. V-190-02, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section 25.07.02-10(e) in order to establish tenant identification signs on the west and south fa9ades, which do not have frontage on a public street, consistent with the Plan Commission Special Study Committee's approval of Docket No. 142-02 ADLS Amend. V-188-02; V-189-02; V-190-02 u u *When applying for Sign Permits for this structure, please include a copy of this letter with your application materials in order to assist the Department's review. Please be advised that per Section 30.5.5: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance, the aforementioned Development Standards Variance approvals are valid for one (1) year. By that time, either continuous construction of sign improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department.
