Dear Members:
The Carmel Plan Commission offers you the following report on application Docket No.
PZ-2023-00227 PUD Amend - petitioning to amend the Jackson's Grant Village PUD to
add the (previously known as) Cunningham parcel into the Jackson's Grant Village PUD.
A new Daycare use, and land swap is proposed, which will allow for 3 additional
townhome units to be constructed. The site is located at 510 West I I6th Street and is
zoned S-2/Residence and is within the West 116th Street Overlay.
The Carmel Plan Commission's Commercial Committee recommendation on the petition
of the applicant is `No Recommendation."
At its regularly scheduled meeting on May 21, 2024, the Carmel Plan Commission voted
Five (5) in Favor, Four (4) Opposed, Zero (0) Absent, to forward to the Common Council
the proposed Ordinance No. Z-691-24 with a "No Recommendation".
Please be advised that by virtue of the Plan Commission's No Recommendation,
pursuant to IC 36-7-4-607(f) and IC 36-7-4-608(g), the Council has ninety (90) days to
act on this petition before it becomes effective as Certified by the Commission. Ninety
days from the date of the Certification is Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
