Dear BZA Members,
Mr. Jim White, General Manager of Primrose Development LLC, did on two
occasions provide verbal notification of the intent to seek a variance for the
placement of a temporary marketing sign along the Keystone off-ramp. Jim also
advised that a certified letter was sent regarding the formal hearing time and date;
however, it was not received. Therefore, I am providing this letter to verify that as a
property owner entitled to legal notice, that I have been provided a copy of the letter
of notification which was personally delivered to me in advance of the hearing. I
have signed a copy of the letter and attached it as acknowledgment of receipt.

To Whom It May Concern:
Please find attached a legal notification for a Board of Zoning Appeals
Hearing to be conducted at 6:00 PM on March 26th, 2007 in the City
Hall Council Chambers, 1 Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032.
This petition is filed to seek permission to place a temporary ground
sign along the east side of the "Keystone Off-Ramp". This 4 foot by 8
foot ground sign would be permitted at the entry to Yorktown Woods
which is located to the south; however, because it would be located on
an interior street it would not serve any functional purpose in terms of
helping prospective buyers find Laura Vista. Therefore, a more visible
location is sought.
Heazer Homes, exclusive builder in Yorktown Woods, located
immediately to the south, was recently granted a similar Variance for a
ground sign oriented to the "Keystone Off-Ramp". This sign would be
visible only to those traveling the "Off-Ramp" and would provide
direction as to how to find Laura Vista from 146tb Street.
We have attached a map and a graphic to help better explain the
petition.

Appeals meeting: on the 26th day of March. 2007 at 6:00 PM in the City
Hall Council Chambers. 1 Civic Square. Carmel. Indiana 46032 will
hold a Public Hearing: upon a Development Standards Variance
