SUBJECT: 500 EAST CARMEL DRIVE, CARMEL, IN 46032
This letter is to inform you that the Special Studies Committee. of the Carmel/Clay Plan
Commission has continued Docket No. 141-02 ADLS Amend for two or more consecutive
months due to a lack of representation. This item will appear once again on the agenda of the
Special Studies Committee on March 4,2003. If again, no representative appears to present the
petition, then the Committee and the Department will have no choice but to dismiss the case for
lack of prosecution. Please be advised that the dismissal of Docket No. 141-02 ADLS Amend
from the agenda of the Committee will be cause for further enforcement action on existing
violations of Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance. Significant changes have been made to the
landscaping, lighting and signage located on the site, violating Section 19.0.2: Plan Commission
Approval and Section 25.07.07: Sign Permits.
To avoid further enforcement action, please be prepared to present your petition at the March 4,
2003 meeting of the Special Studies Committee. During its November 2002 meeting, the
Committee expressed its desire for you to work with the Department with respect to size and
type of signage, light fixtures, planting islands and a ground sign. If you have any questions
regarding this matter, please contact Jon Dobosiewicz or me at 571-2417.
