Re: Docket No. PZ-2023-00076 PP/SP: Cherry Creek Farms Minor Subdivision
The applicant seeks minor subdivision plat approval to split one 2.7-acre parcel
into 2 residential lots. The site is located at 13777 Hazel Dell Parkway and is zoned
S-1/Residential. Filed by Mike Kinney, owner.
As a neighbor of this project, I do not have any concerns with the minor
subdivision plat approval.
However, I am in support of the multi-use path construction along Hazel Dell
Parkway. This area is currently a narrow sidewalk. I am in full support of the
construction of a wider multi-use path as required. This location is a vital area
adjacent to Cherry Tree Elementary School and providing path to today’s
standards is important and should not be postponed as a contribution to a fund.
Many of the existing trees will be removed for the construction access and
eventual driveway of the new lot either way. A wider new muti-use path with this
project is currently important for citizens and school children and will add to the
overall path width and design of the rest of Hazel Dell Parkway into the future.
