Docket No. 114-02 Z; Crooked Stick Golf Course Petitioner seeks a favorable recommendation of a rezone from S-l/Residential to P- liP arks and Recreation on 1 89.34:t acres. The site is located west of Ditch Road between l06th Street and 1 16th Street. The site is zoned S-l/Residential. Filed by the Department of Community Services. The subject area is currently zoned S-l/Residential. This zoning classification would permit, among other things, the development of the property into a residential subdivision. This is entirely from a zoning and land use perspective. There may be private covenants and restriction tied to the property which would serve to prevent the same. Please see the attached P-l ordinance language. The applicant has provided an information packet to the Committee for review and additional information. The department concurs with their conclusion in that the legal description for the rezone should be as they have prepared. The Department will replace the existing legal description with that provided by the owner's representative. The Department recommends that the Special Studies Committee forward this item back to the full Plan Commission with a favorable recommendation.
