WHEREAS. the Common Council bf the City of Carmel. Indiana. is
desirious of annexing the following described real estate; and.
WHEREAS. the City of Carmel. Indiana. has heretofore defined the
corporate boundaries of the City and is desirious of annexing the following
described property.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Carmel, Indiana. that the following described real estate in Clay Township.
Hamilton County. Indiana. be and hereby is annexed to and shall hereafter be.
a part of the City of Carmel. Indiana:
A parcel of land lying in the Northwest Quarter and the Northeast Quarter of
Section 24 and the Northeast Quarter of Section 23. Township 18 North, Range 3
East. Clay Township. Hamilton County, Indiana, being more particularly
described as follows: "
Beginning at the Southeast Corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 24;
thence on an assumed bearing of South 88 degrees 39 minutes 50 seconds West
along the south line of ,said Northwest Quarter and the North line of Hunters
Creek South Section 2, the plat of which is recorded in Plat Book 13, Pages 103,
104 and 105 in the Office of the Recorder, Hamilton County, Indiana. a distance
of 2611.08 feet to the Southwest Comer of said Northwest Quarter; thence
continue South 88 degrees 39 minutes 50 seconds West a distance of 50.01 feet to
the West right-of-way line of Oakridge Road; thence North 00 degrees 00
minutes 00 seconds East parallel with the East line of the Northeast Quarter of
said Section 23 and the West line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 24, a
distance of 546.07 feet; thence North 88 degrees 39 minutes 22 seconds East a
distance of 50.01 feet to the 'East line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 23;
thence continue North 88 degrees 39 minutes 22 seconds East along the south
line of Hunters Creek Village Section 3. the plat of which is recorded in Plat
Book 11, pages 17. 18 & 19 in the Office of the Recorder, Hamilton County,
Indiana. and the south line of Hunters Creek Village Section 4. the plat of
which is recorded in Plat Book 12. Pages 28. 29 & 30 in the Office of the
Recorder, Hamilton County, Indiana, a distance of 1193.50 feet; thence North 00
degrees 09 minutes 58 seconds West along the southerly line of said Section 4 a
distance of 111.33 feet; thence North 88 degrees 28 minutes 33 seconds East
along the south line of said section 4, a distance of 756.09 feet to the Southeast
comer of said Section 4; thence North 00 degrees 09 minutes 54 seconds West
along the east line of said Section 4 of distance of 387.21 feet; thence North 88
degrees 32 minutes 36 seconds East parallel with the north line of said
Northwest Quarter a distance of 341.70 feet to the Northwest corner of a tract of
land recorded in Deed Record 221. Page 124 in the Office of the Recorder,
Hamilton County, Indiana; thence South 00 degrees 08 minutes 10 seconds East
along the West line of said tract a distance of 148.80 feet; thence North 89
degrees 28, minutes 46 seconds East along the South line of said tract a distance
of 318.30 feet to the East line of said Northwest Quarter; thence continue North
89 degrees 28 minutes 46 seconds East in the Northeast Quarter of said Section
24, a distance of 80.63 feet to the East right-oi-way line of the Manon Railroad
and the west line of Stonehedge Estates Forth Section, the plat of which is
recorded in Plat Book 6, Pages 143 & 144 in the Office of the Recorder, Hamilton
County. Indiana' a point' all a curve having a radius of '2154.52 .feet. the radius
point of which bears North 83 degrees 09 minutes 19 seconds East; then~e
Southeasterly along said curve a distance of 949.94 feet to a point which bears
South 57 degrees 53 minutes 36 seconds West from said radius point and the
south line of said Northeast Quarter; thence South 88 degrees 58 minutes, 41
seconds West along the south line of said Northeast Quarter a distance 392.26
feet to the Point of Beginning of the above described parcel of land,
containing 45.89 acres, more or less.

We, Marion Rohrer and Joann Rohrer, of Hamilton County,
State of Indiana, do hereby designate Mark Boyce of Hamilton
County, State of Indiana, our true and lawful attorney in fact,
or agent to represent us before the Carmel Board of Public Works
and the City Council of Carmel, Indiana with respect to a
Petition for Annexation to the City of Carmel, Indiana of the
portion of the real estate owned by us and more particularly
described in the Petition for Annexation attached hereto and made
a part hereof and we hereby ratify and confirm all that said
attorney in fact or agent shall do by virtue hereof.
We hereby reserve 'the right of revocation, however, this
Power of Attorney shall continue in full force and effect until
July 1, 1988.
We further state that this Power of Attorney shall not be
affected by our incompetence.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
The undersigned, being the owners of more than 51 % of the following
described real property located in Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana
petition the Carmel City Council to annex the described real estate to the City of
Carmel and in support of the petition respectfully state:
1. The Carmel City Council has previously by, ordinance described
and defined the corporate boundaries of the City of Carmel, Indiana.
2. --The following described real estate is contiguous to .the existing,
corporate boundaries in that at least one eighth (1/8) of the aggregate
external boundaries of the territory to be annexed coincides with the,
boundaries of the City of Carmel, Indiana.
3. The legal description of the property to be annexed is as follows:'
A parcel of land lying in the Northwest Quarter and the Northeast Quarter of
Section 24 and the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 18 North, Range 3
East, Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana, being more particularly
described as follows:
