Dear Mr. Harting:
The Director of the Department of Community Services took the following action regarding the Site Plan and Design
Review, (SDR) approval for the property located at 511 2nd Avenue NE.
APPROVED: Docket No. 109-02 SDR (Amended) request to approve a screened-in porch addition. The Director
hereby grants the petition with the following condition:
The roof type/color of the addition shall match the existing house roof.
In order to assist the Department's review, please attach a copy of this letter when making application for permits
regarding the improvements contained within this approval.

Dear Ms. Chastain,
Pursuant to the Old Town Overlay Zone, 20 23D.4, the following action has been taken on the Site Plan and
Design Review petition filed for the property located at 511 2nd Avenue NE.
ADMINISTRATIVELY APPROVED: Docket No. 109-02 SDR, application to remodel an
existing detached garage located at 511 2nd Avenue NE.
Please be advised that per Section 23.D.4. C of the Zoning Ordinance, the aforementioned approval shall
be valid for two (2) years from the date of approval. If construction/renovation has not started at the end
of the two (2) year period, the Site Plan and Design Review request must be re-submitted to the Director.
Further, if an approved Site Plan and Design Review petition is substantially altered, re-submittal to the
Director for approval is required.
In order to assist the Department's review, please attach a copy of this letter when making application
for permits regarding the improvements contained within this approval. If I can be of any further
