HomeMy WebLinkAboutPacket for HO 07-22-24Statement of Variance The Homeowners, the Wolfe Family would like the pool equipment to sit in the 15ft drainage and utility easement, right next to their A/C units. The pool equipment is no louder than AC units and it just makes sense as to where the electric is on that house to place the pool equipment in that spot. Statement of Support In asking for this variance, there are compelling reasons on the location we would like to place the pool equipment. The side we would like to put the pool equipment on is the same side that the 2 A/c units sit on and they are in the drainage and utility easement, so we thought that would be a great place to put the equipment as well to have everything together. The pool equipment sits on a 3x5 concrete pad. Also on that side of the house is where the electric panel which makes an easy hookup for the heat pump on that side of the house. Furthermore, the pump is a variable speed pump which will only require to be set as speed fast enough to turn over the water 2-3 times daily, essentially making it inaudible. We have built many of pools in Carmel and have never had an issues with the location of our pool equipment and the noise it makes.
