Provide1.0% cross pitch on all walks unless otherwise shown on theplans. Grade to divert water away from all walls, columns,steps, and structures. Where direction is not shown, providecross slopes to achieve positive drainage.2.Contractor to import and distribute structural fill material asnecessary for hardscape areas to achieve grades as shownon the plans.3.Contractor to remove and dispose of all turf and debrisoff-site following applicable codes and ordinances.4.Promptly notify Owners Representative if unsatisfactorysub-grade materials are discovered. No payment will bemade for additional work completed without priorauthorization by Owners Representative.5.All slopes between spot elevations on pathways shall beconsistent.6.Maximum slope of 20 to 1 (5.0%) on all paved areas unlessotherwise noted. Slopes greater than 20 to 1 will not beaccepted.7.Transitions between slopes on paved surfaces to be smoothtransitions, abrupt transitions will not be accepted.8.Pavement surfaces and edges to be smooth and uniform inslope and width. Irregularites, depressions, bumps, or crackswill not be accepted.
