Hello-
As a long ?me resident of Carmel, I am wri?ng to express my concerns about the on going and con?nued high density
development taking place in Carmel.
I chose to live in Carmel because of the single family housing, big lots, abundant green space and parks, safe community
and great school.
The con?nuing Carmel trend of becoming a “ver?cal city” is not appealing to me or many of my neighbors. It is leading to
overcrowding of our great schools, causing more traffic & conges?on on the roads, disappearance of green spaces, and
the displacement of wildlife.
I am sugges?ng an immediate pause in development. Stop the rezoning. Stop the alterna?ve dwelling units. Stop the
duplexes, quads, and townhouses. Stop the high density apartment complexes. Stop the “build to rent”. Stop the
“ver?cal city”. Stop the concrete jungle.
Please listen to current homeowners & residents who voices are so important in keeping our community a place we want
to con?nue to call home.
Thank you!
