Exterior Improvements
Please review the proposed improvements to the courtyard and building exterior at 2 W Main
Street.The proposed changes will greatly improve the aesthetics and usability of the property
and will create a welcoming atmosphere for Bovaconti Coffee patrons.
Here’s a brief summary of the proposed improvements:
-Proposed exterior wall paint color is SW 9109 Natural Linen.It’s a neutral and soft color
that can blend with the surrounding buildings,and also serve as a background for
accent colors used for the awnings,signage and column finishes.
-Accent and supporting colors draw inspiration from historic Art Deco colors:Green,Teal,
Aged Brass.
-Lighting fixtures are influenced by Art Deco details of fluted glass and aged brass.
-Wall sconces will be added to each column on East and South elevations to provide for
architectural accent lighting.
-Wall sconces will be added over each awning to add accent lighting.
-Existing walking path,light pole fixture and ornamental iron fence will be refurbished and
preserved.
-Existing paver patio will be expanded using the pavers salvaged from other areas in the
courtyard.
-Flagstone patio will be installed instead of a grass area to expand outdoor seating.
-New trees and bushes will be planted to provide shade for the outdoor seating and
screen the mechanical equipment.
-A mix of perennial and annual plants will be installed and placed in planters to create a
comfortable and cozy atmosphere.
-Patio chairs are sourced from Article furniture:Zina Lago Aqua and Zina Heathered Grey
-Patio lounge chairs are sourced from BluDot furniture:Hot Mesh Lounge Chair in Aqua
-Patio tables are sourced from BluDot furniture:Hot Mesh Cafe Table
-Patio umbrellas are sourced from Heininger:DestinationGear Italian patio umbrella in
Jade and White
-Attaching Bovaconti branding guide as a reference for our overall look and feel.
-Actual colors might be different from how they appear in the attached PDF renderings.
We can provide color chips and material samples to show the actual colors.
