HomeMy WebLinkAboutPacket for HO 08-26-23Stephen Jenison 10520 Shelborne Rd Carmel, In. 46032 TO: Carmel's Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer FROM: Stephen Jenison DATE: August 7, 2024 SUBJECT: PZ-2024-00116V Attached please find the required documents associated with PZ-2024-0016V. This petition is scheduled to be Heard at the August 26, 2024 BZA Hearing Meeting. Thank you for your consideration. Statement of Request (V) Jenison Accessory Building Height Variance The applicant seeks the following development variance standards variance approval for the height of a newly constructed barn. Docket No. PZ-2024-0016V UDO Section 2.04 Maximum Height 18 ft accessory building height required 23 ft requested The 5.38-acre site is located at 10500-10520 Shelborne Road. It is zoned S1/Residence and the request is filed by Stephen and Sandra Jenioson, owners. The accessory building will primarily be used to store a motorhome that is currently stored outside. The practical hardship is that the UDO height limit does not allow adequate clearance to do required utility maintenance on top of the motorhome while in storage, Thank you for your consideration.
