Instead of evergreens, ornamental trees and shrubs can we replace all the
proposed plantings with a 1000' long evergreen planting, with 'green giant'
arborvitae, Serbian spruce and Norway spruce plantings at 16.5' spacing for
a total of 62 evergreens that will be planted in groups of 5-10. This area is
about 17-19' wide and I feel one evergreen tree over time will fill in this
width. This will extremely limit maintenance long term and be easier to water
short term. Connecting these two areas will also provide a better screen and
background.

Tree-lined landscape screening is shown for
approximately 1,180' along the west property line and
175' on south property line at northwest corner of the
parcel. 78 trees are proposed, 62 trees requested by
the TAC comment and 16 replacement trees for Carmel
GAC and SSB projects. The trees are planted in
groupings of 5 to 10 with openings for snow collection
areas.

and sign location variance approvals from the BZA (Board of Zoning
Appeals). We can most likely have these variance applications heard by a
BZA Hearing Officer. Please create/file a variance application on the online
application portal for each request, to get that process started. During the
process, if Angie Conn is not available, you may also ask for Joe Shestak in
the Planning/Zoning Dept.

Is a new replacement fence being proposed for the existing chain link fence?
If so, please provide the location and design details of that. (I think back in
November it was mentioned that it would be brick piers and decorative
metal fencing...)

The chain link fence around the outer edge of the
football field and stadium area will be replaced with an
8' high ornamental fence with brick piers. The location
of the fence and brick piers can be found on drawing
G1.0, G1.1 & G1.2. The fence detail can be found on
J/G4.2. The column details can be found on G/G4.2 &
5/A5-02.
The replacement of the chain link fence against the
track with a 4' ornamental fence is an alternate bid item.

Please provide the location and screening details of the generator and chiller
that were discussed in a November pre-filing meeting. They need to be
screened and/or camouflaged. Also, please provide the sound attenuation
details of each.

There is no chiller on this project. For cost savings, we
moved away from this type of mechanical chilled water
system. We do have a replacement emergency
generator. A Muffler/silencer is required on the
emergency generator for the exhaust piping system.
The minimum sound shall be attenuation of 25 dB at
500 Hz. The maximum sound level measured at a
distance of 10 feet from exhaust discharge after
installation is complete shall be 85 dBA or less.
The emergency generator and the transformer will be
screened. These screen walls will add additional
buffering to the above mentioned without
compromising the operation and service of these items.
The generator is located south of the building within an
enclosed mechanical yard. Refer to dwg G 1.1 for
location. Screening can be seen on elevation 1/A3.01,
2/A3.02, & 3/A3.03.

There are NO new signs planned as part of the
Contracts approved for this Project.
Carmel Clay Schools will work with their preferred
vendor, Essential Signs, at a much later date.
The anticipated signage scope installation (by others)
would occur near the substantial completion date in the
summer of 2026.

ADA signs are the only site signage being added. No
additional wayfinding site signs are being added. We
are still working on directional signage that will be
attached to fencing and buildings. We will get that to

$5,000 license and permit bond (this can be applied for here:

Need to add bicycle parking? And address pedestrian connectivity?
Any signage changes? - on the field side of the press box, and any directional signage. (Jan. 22 BZA meeting date,
