They have an approved sign from the sign package and intend to install at a later date. It is not a projection sign. We will not have a need to add any additional projection signs, so in answer to the question, there will not be any additional requests to vary from the sign package. Hope that clarifies. We recognize the two signs vary in several detail aspects from what was previously approved for the 1st ON MAIN office building. The original sign design package anticipated a potential for (4) tenants on the first floor: The restaurant, which has an approved and installed blade sign; and (3) H1 (non-illuminated) plus (3) H2 (illuminated) style signs. The design anticipated having up to three smaller office and/or retail tenants in those spaces. With Goelzer, an office user, signing a long-term lease for the entire remaining first floor space, their signage needs required a slight departure from the approved sign package to accommodate their business name and to help with wayfinding for their clients. They are a wealth management company relocating to Carmel from downtown Indianapolis. Their clients typically come to their office for in-person meetings. Ownership acknowledges and approves the following variations from the approved package: • Change of the shape of the sign from round to square • Sign is mounted with two horizontal bars attached to a mounting bracket versus a single horizontal bar with sign suspended from two additional bars. (Note: The color of the bars matches the original approved specifications). • Use of the gold color in the vinyl acrylic Goelzer name. • Main Street sign (referencing the H2 specifications) o Overall sign size is 44 in. x 24 in. versus 48 in. x 44 in. The side view width of the sign is consistent with the approved width of 8 inches. o Full projection distance from the building is 56 inches versus the approved 10 West Carmel Drive, Suite 100 Carmel, IN 46032 317.848.6500 www.lauth.net distance of 48 inches. o Height of the Goelzer name lettering is 5 ¾” versus approved height of 5 ¼”. The Investment Management lettering is 1 ¾”. o Placement of the sign meets the minimum above grade height of 96 inches. It will be approximately 135 inches. o Total area of the sign is 7.3 square feet versus the approved 9 square feet per sign (3) – originally 27 square feet in total. • Rear Building Signage (referencing the H1 specifications) o Overall sign size is 36 in. x 20.in versus 48 in. x 44 in. The side view width is narrower at 2 inches versus the approved 8 inches. o Sign is mounted with two horizontal bars attached to a mounting bracket versus a single horizontal bar with sign suspended from two additional bars. (Note: The color of the bars matches the original approved specifications). o Full projection distance from the building is 44 inches versus approved 48 inches. o Height of the Goelzer name lettering is 4 ½” versus approved 5 ¼.”. The Investment Management lettering is 1 ½ inches versus approved 5 ¼.” o Placement of the sign meets the minimum above grade height of 96 inches. It will be approximately 116 inches from grade. o Total area of the sign is 5 square feet versus the approved 9 square feet per sign (3) – originally 27 square feet in total. All other components of the sign in terms of materials, colors, and mounting brackets are consistent with the originally approved sign package.
