Mr. Butler and City of Carmel,
The proposed “development” at 146th St and Town Rd is not in the best interest of the city of Carmel.
The area north of this location, in Westfield, IN is already densely populated. This has created a “Ghetto”
environment.
The excessive density proposed will only increase the “ghetto” environment but will be associated with
the City of Carmel.
Destroying a large area of nature, the trees, to provide for flood prevention for the ghetto is obscene.
Nature should be preserved.
The community of Saddle Creek has already been infringed upon by the development of Ambleside and
has already affected our community. They have access to our roads. They have increased the usage of
our ponds, hence, will increase the cost of maintenance of the ponds.
All of this, very poor development, will reduce the property values of Saddle Creek. (My property already
incurred a 4% reduction this year.)
I respectfully request denial of the current proposal.
Sincerely,
John Dilley
