There are a few options for this site for landscaping. 1) You can provide the landscaping per the 2003 landscape plan. There are not tree types noted. With that said, below is what would be required. Foundation plantings: Match the 2003 plan. I am also good with what is shown on this new plan. South perimeter: no bufferyard required as this area was dedicated for road widening West perimeter: match 2003 plan, with 1.5-inch caliper ornamental trees as there are overhead powerlines North perimeter: match 2003 plan, with 1.5-inch caliper ornamental trees as there are overhead powerlines East perimeter: match 2003 plan, with 2.5- inch caliper shade trees as there are no power lines and to limit parking clearance issues Existing trees should stay and would count toward the required number of trees if they are in good condition. 2) Option 2 would be to review and show the current UDO requirements and create a new landscape plan to today's standards. There would still not be a south bufferyard unless the parking spaces were replaced with grass. Use ornamental trees instead of shade trees along the west and north perimeters. And the UDO required 30' north bufferyard width could stay as existing if the curb/parking location did not change. I am also good with the foundation plantings as currently shown. I uploaded our city standard planting details to also be used for this project. Either way, perimeter bufferyard plantings will be required.
