The building & Sewer Shall be pve sewer pipe meeting ASTM specifications 3034 SDR 35 of latest revision; or vitrified clay pipe, meeting
ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe oflatest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 232] for pve pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9-122(a), and sections P3008.] and .2 of the International Residential Code. All building sewers shall be 6" diameter.
All installations shall be "open trench" insnected and aPtJroved bv the Carmel Sewer Denartment before anv backfilling is done. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial of future sewer pennits and/or denial of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground water or storm water shall be permitted to enter the public sewer.
Sewer inspections should be reauested at (3] 7) 571-2648 one to four hours in advance.
No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangements are made at least 24 hours in advance. All
plumbers or contractors installing sewer (or water) lines shall have a plumbers bond posted with the CITY ENGINEER'S OFFiCE. If any street

The proposed Renaissance Hotel is located on Pennsylvania Street at City .Center Drive with an address of
11925 North Meridian Street. The Plan Commission approved this project, Docket No. 060800 14
OP/ADLS, on October 17,2006.
I recommend the Board approve Water Availability for the Renaissance Hotel as follows:
RENAISSANCE HOTEL. 119%5 NORTH MERIDIAN STREET
Water: 64.68 EOVs as per Water Ordinance A~6/A-77. Not to exceed an average daily flow of 19,145.0
gallons.
This project is in the service area of the Clay Townsbip Regional Waste Oistrict for Sanitary Sewers.

PLEASE NOTE: Installation of building sewer shall be per the specifications of the Clay Township Regional wastJ
District (see reverse) and any conditions noted below. All installations shall be inspected by District personnel during
"open trench" phase and before backfilling with stone to twelve inches above the pipe. NO footing or foundation drains,
or other sources of ground or stormwater, shall be permitted to enter the District's sanitary sewer system. The District
will assume no liability for drains which are below the grade level of the nearest downstream manhole nor for laterals
