The footprint of the gazebo is proposed to be 16’ x 26’-4”. This will be an outdoor covered area creating shade for seating on an existing patio. See attached arial photo. The variance being requested is related to “the combined square footage of the Ground Floor of a Private Garage and/or Accessory Building shall not exceed 75% of the Ground Floor Area of the Principal Building; 133% requested”. Wishart Gazebo Variance Docket #: PZ-2024-00137 V Statement of Support This situation exists because when our lots 3 & 4 were re-plated into a single lot circa 2008 by the previous homeowner, the adjacent pool house absorbed all available square footage for any additional accessory roofed structure, in this case a gazebo.
