Hello,
My name is Binoy John, and I reside in Saddle Creek, Carmel. I recently learned about the proposed
development at 146th and Towne Road, which is situated behind my home. I would like to express my
concerns regarding this project.
1. The recent development of Pulte Ambleside homes and Townhomes has added significant
traffic to the area. And adding more townhomes and houses in the limited remaining space,
will significantly increase the area’s density.
2. The proposed commercial building will exacerbate the already congested area. There is
already substantial development occurring just across the street on the Westfield side.
3. The creation of a super pond between this development and Ambleside will result in the
destruction of approximately 2 acres of mature trees. This, along with the new tree line and
pond, will lead to increased water erosion issues and higher costs for Saddle Creek residents.
Overall, I believe this project will negatively impact the natural ecosystem and significantly affect
nearby homeowners’ lives, including their property values and quality of life.
I kindly request that you reconsider this project or at least reduce the number of buildings and
structures planned. It is crucial to maintain a balance between development and the preservation of
nature and habitat.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Binoy John
