Dear Mrs. Cartwright:
We have reviewed the ADLS Amendment submitted to the Hamilton County Surveyor's
Office on March 6, 2007 for this project and have the following commeTIts:
1. This project falls within the incorporated area and MS4 jurisdiction of the City of
Cannel.
2. This proposed project falls in the W.R. Fertig Regulated Drain Watershed.
3. This proposed. project DOES NOT fall in a Cannel Wellhead Protection Area.
4. The Hamilton County Surveyor's Office recommends denial of this project because it
app~s that a detention basin designed for this site is being filled in to allow the
mounds. The original drainage calculations for this site state that detention was
required because of the limited capacity of the pipe under Cannel Drive. No
calculations have been provided that prove the detention volume is not being lost or
that the lost volume is being relocated to a different area. The loss of the detention
volume could cause flooding issues on the subject property~ and possibly Cannel
Drive.
.5. If Prisfactory calculations are provided that addresses the filling in of a detention
basin, then HCSO will revise the recommendation on this ADLS amendment.
